Let North Carolina Aquarium Plan And Host Your Wedding

Atlantic Beach, NC - Special Events Assistant Holly Henderson of the North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores has recently earned certification as a Professional Bridal Consultant.

After completing seven months of online courses, Henderson earned the designation through the Association of Bridal Consultants. Her studies focused on etiquette, sales and marketing, the wedding day, related services, planning and consulting.

Each year, the Aquarium provides the setting for approximately 50 weddings, receptions and rehearsal dinners. Full- and half-facility rentals are available, in addition to rental of the Aquarium’s Soundside Hall and Big Rock Theater.

“The courses helped to give me a better view of what the bride goes through and what she expects of me,” Henderson said.

Henderson started working at the Aquarium in Visitors Services in 2006, and became the Special Events Assistant in May 2008.
