Carlsbad, CA - SEA LIFE™ Aquarium at LEGOLAND® California Resort re-opens with a special holiday welcome for the new Zebra sharks and Cownose rays moving into their new SEA LIFE home. SEA LIFE divers decorate a LEGO® Christmas tree on the bottom of the 200,000 gallon ocean tank, wishing creatures and guests a merry Christmas.

WHEN:
Tuesday, December 23.

WHERE:
SEA LIFE Aquarium – adjacent to LEGOLAND California in Carlsbad

DETAILS:
The most stunning change at SEA LIFE is the addition of two 6-foot-long Zebra sharks, and 40 Cownose rays to the Lost City of Atlantis Display. These new residents make SEA LIFE Aquarium at LEGOLAND California Resort home to more sharks than any of the other 28 SEA LIFE Aquariums world wide. Other new creatures throughout the Aquarium include chocolate chip sea stars, blue linkia sea stars, African general stars, sea apples, Flying Gurnard and juvenile Port Jackson Sharks.

Besides new creatures, SEA LIFE also has many new features including an interactive LEGO sand castle building area; a new slide and décor in the Lake Tahoe area; new murals on the front entrance; and a new welcome video in the introduction room.

VISUALS:

The Pacaya Samiria National Reserve is a magical place.  The flora, fauna, remoteness and beauty are exquisite.  Another interesting aspect is how the indigenous people there live.  To learn more and see photos  taken by indigenous children in the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, you can visit ninosdelaamazonia.org
