He will share his impressions of how human activities on land and sea have impacted the ocean and its resources worldwide.
And then there are natural disasters. Learn why September is the peak month for hurricanes and why this season is one of unusual activity. Hear Dr. Patzert talk about Fay, Gustav, and Ike.
Dr. Patzert is a research scientist at Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL)where he conducts research on the ocean’s role in climate changes and serves as JPL’s media spokesperson for ocean and climate related activities.
