Wedding Awards Voted Vancouver Aquarium as the Best Wedding Reception Venue

Monterey, CA - B.C. Wedding Awards voted Vancouver Aquarium as the Best Wedding Reception Venue 2010 at their annual awards gala on December 1.

“We’re incredibly honoured to receive the award of Best Wedding Reception Venue 2010. Vancouver Aquarium is a breathtaking event venue that offers guests an opportunity to explore its amazing habitats and exhibits while enjoying delectable food and beverages within its visually stimulating galleries,” said Craig Levido, Director of Food Services, Vancouver Aquarium. “All proceeds from events at the Aquarium go towards education, conservation and research initiatives.”

Each entry that was received for Best Wedding Reception Venue was carefully reviewed and scored by a panel of judges, which included Mike Alexander, editor of the largest publication of B.C. based wedding magazines, Somer Zangrando, co-creator and daily blog coordinator of A Million Little Details, and Davina & Daniel who have photographed weddings all over North America and abroad.

Featuring mesmerizing surroundings and over 70,000 fascinating animals, the Aquarium offers stunning backdrops and contemporary West Coast flair for 50 to 1,200 guests. It also offers Ocean Wise dining and is a member of the Green Table Network.
