Polar Bear Prices During Polar Bear Weather at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo

Cleveland, OH - Enjoy Savings on Polar Bear Days at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.

Don’t let winter weather force you into hibernation. Venture out to Cleveland Metroparks Zoo on Polar Bear Days and save half off your admission.

From January 2 through 31, any time the day’s high temperature is predicted to be 32 degrees or below, a Polar Bear Day will be declared and admission will be lowered to just $3.50 per person, $2.50 for kids ages 2 to 11 and free for children under 2 and Zoo members.

To find out if it’s officially a Polar Bear Day, visit clemetzoo.com or call (216) 661-6500. The Zoo will also announce Polar Bear Days to its followers on Twitter and friends on Facebook.

There’s plenty to see and do at the Zoo all winter long.

Check out the winter -loving animals of Northern Trek, including reindeer, wolves, tigers, grizzlies and, of course, polar bears. And warm up inside the Primate, Cat & Aquatics Building or The RainForest, where it’s always a comfortable 78 degrees. A complimentary, heated shuttle offers transportation through the Zoo. Visitors are invited to stop by the Zoo Gift Shop in January for a ten percent discount on any polar bear or igloo plush toy.

Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Discounted winter admission through March 31, 2010, is just $7 per person, $5 for kids ages 2 to 11 and free for children under 2 and Zoo members. Parking is free. Located at 3900 Wildlife Way, the Zoo is easily accessible from Interstates 71, 77, 90 and 480.
