It's Almost Time To Ship Your Kids Off to Houston Zoo's Winter Camp Zoofari
Houston, TX - Registration is open now for Winter Camp Zoofari at the Houston Zoo. Winter Camp Zoofari is art, education and fun all rolled into one! Kids can tour the world with out ever leaving Houston and enjoy a “naturally wild” school break with the Houston Zoo’s Winter Camp. Children ages 4 to 12 can enjoy exploring the world’s ecosystems and wildlife while engaging in fun activities, games, crafts, and guided Zoo tours. On-line registration is $55 per child per day. Underwater Adventures Tuesday, December 29 Travel the tides of our surrounding oceans, lakes, and wetlands and explore the unique animals, from the strange to the familiar, that thrive in these liquid habitats. Savanna Safari Wednesday, December 30 Slather on your sunscreen as we explore the hot, arid expanses of savannas and deserts. Find out what animals can survive in these blistering habitats and how they adapt to the extreme temperatures. Winter Wildlife Thursday, December 31 Pack your parka and discover animals in the frozen reaches of the poles and the snowy peaks of mountains as we travel to some of the coldest spots on the globe for some frosty fun! Winter Camp is a rain or shine event and campers will be outside in all types of weather; Please dress appropriately.
