Santa Claus Will Soon be Scuba Diving at Vancouver Aquarium
Vancouver, Canada - Today begins “A NORTH POLE ADVENTURE” at the Vancouver Aquarium featuring holiday season programming for the whole family including the return of traditional favourites SCUBA CLAUS and children’s musical duo BOBS & LOLO. Plus, something new for 2009… THE POLAR EXPRESS 4-D EXPERIENCE! Everyone’s invited to climb aboard THE POLAR EXPRESS 4-D EXPERIENCE and watch the extraordinary adventures of a doubting boy on a train ride to the North Pole. THE POLAR EXPRESS 4-D EXPERIENCE is a 20-minute cinematic sensory adventure based on the inspiring and beloved Caldecott Medal children’s book by Chris Van Allsburg. If you’ve never yet seen snow fall and much more inside a movie theatre, now’s your chance! “A NORTH POLE ADVENTURE” at the Aquarium also carries on our holiday traditions with Scuba Claus as he takes another jolly dip in the Strait of Georgia exhibit with halibut, herring, sturgeons and sea stars. And Bobs & Lolo return for live holiday performances with song and dance to connect kids to the natural world. The Vancouver Aquarium is open every day including Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
