A Live Nativity Scene and Play at Noah's Ark Zoo Farm
Wraxall, UK - Somewhere between the tinsel and the cabbage leaves, the crackers and the peelings of parsnip, comes the remarkable story of ‘Nearly the Goat’. Riding Lights Theatre Company and Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm presents a brand new Christmas play for the whole family to enjoy on Saturday 12th December. Events Organiser, Sammi Luxa, tells us more; “Nearly the Goat’ will be a mixture of a nativity play and a pantomime and will feature professional actors, puppets and live animals from the zoo. This memorable interpretation of the nativity story will be a fantastic way to kick start the countdown to Christmas”. Every year Noah’s Ark opens it doors during the closed season to the local community by hosting nativity plays in the 500 seat Ark Arena. This year there will be two nativity plays on the 12th and 19th December. ‘An Ancient Promise’ hosted on Saturday 19th December will be a traditional rendition of the nativity featuring a choir who will be performing well known Christmas carols for visitors to join in with. There will be one performance of ‘Nearly the Goat’ at 2.30pm and tickets are £5. There will be two performances of ‘An Ancient Promise’ at 2.30pm and 4pm and tickets are free.
