New orleans, LA - This is something you don’t see every day – two Cajun fiddlers making music on the boardwalk for Audubon Zoo’s apes! It’s all in honor of the 25th anniversary of the Louisiana Swamp Fest, set for this weekend (November 7 and 8) at Audubon Zoo.

Audubon’s orangutans are well-known for their affinity for dancing – so we’ll see if the music moves them!

Just something a little different – the visiting public is cordially invited, for coverage or for fun. This definitely promises to be a uniquely New Orleans experience!

I think we should move on from having dolphins in captivity now - we all know this isn't good for them.

The Pacaya Samiria National Reserve is a magical place.  The flora, fauna, remoteness and beauty are exquisite.  Another interesting aspect is how the indigenous people there live.  To learn more and see photos  taken by indigenous children in the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, you can visit ninosdelaamazonia.org
