Chicago's Lincoln Park Zoo's "Jammin at the Zoo" Concert

Chicago’s wildest concert venue, Lincoln Park Zoo, is gearing up for rock music sensations Fastball and Blind Melon to perform Friday, July 25. 

The performance is part of the zoo’s monthly summer concert series Jammin’ at the Zoo. Tickets are still available, but guests are encouraged to purchase entry soon as shows typically sell out!

This unique concert series takes place in the heart of the zoo where lions, tigers and seals look on, creating an outdoor atmosphere unlike any other in the city. Celebrating its fifteenth season, the distinctive setting and incredible live music make these concerts a Chicago favorite.

Gates open to the general public at 6 p.m. Zoo Members with tickets can enter 15 minutes early to stake out seating. Seating is open, and guests are encouraged to bring small chairs or blankets. However, no coolers, outside food or drink are permitted. Full food service will be available at Park Place Café and Landmark Café. Beer and wine will be available for purchase to those 21-years and older.

General admission tickets can also be purchased in person at the Zoo’s Gateway Pavilion, online at www.lpzoo.org, or by phone at 312-742-2283. A small service charge will apply to tickets purchased by phone and online. Advance tickets are $23 with discounts available for children and Lincoln Park Zoo Members. Zoo membership dues range from $50 – 110 annually and come with numerous special benefits including invitations to exclusive member-only events, discounts on parking and special event tickets such as Jammin’ at the Zoo.
