Audubon Zoo and Aquarium of the Americas Receive New Web Sites
New Orleans, LA - Everything Audubon is so much easier with the launch of the new Audubon Nature Institute website at www.auduboninstitute.org . From planning an event at Audubon Zoo or Aquarium of the Americas to submitting a job application, it’s all on-line and user-friendly thanks to the updated virtual home of Audubon Nature Institute in New Orleans. Throughout the site, conservation vignettes remind site visitors that supporting Audubon is helping to save wildlife. New features include: Online shopping with a selection of items from Audubon Marketplace “Our web site is the public face of Audubon Nature Institute, so it has to be engaging and educational,” said Laurie Conkerton, Audubon’s senior vice-president for development. “But it is also a wonderful and easy way for our friends and supporters to interact with us. As time goes on, we’ll add even more exciting features. It’s not exactly the same as a trip to one of our attractions – but it’s close!” One of the most visited tabs on the home page will continue to be the click-through to The Audubon Experience. Visitors can purchase tickets for Audubon Zoo, Audubon Aquarium, Audubon Insectarium and Entergy IMAX© Theatre for one low price, saving as much as $75 for a family of four. “As popular as this feature was before, it’s even easier for our visitors to purchase now,” said Laurie Conkerton.
