First Annual Wine and Stein Event at Potter Park Zoo
Lansing, MI - Raise your glass to rhino conservation and join Potter Park Zoo for an after-hours beer and wine tasting event in the wildest setting in town at the first annual “Wine and Stein” on October 15 from Guests will be treated to exclusive evening access to the zoo while enjoying a diverse selection of fine wines and beers, light music, a raffle and delicious hors d’oeuvres provided by Country House Catering, Weston's Kewpee Sandwich Shoppe, Ai Fusion Sushi Bar and Grill, Sweetie-licious Bakery Café and Grumpy's Diner. A selection of non-alcoholic products and water will be provided. Raffle items include two tickets from the Wharton Center for any event in 2010, two tickets from the Lansing Symphony Orchestra for any performance in 2010, four tickets from the Henry Ford Museum, an opportunity to be a “Keeper for a Day” at Potter Park Zoo, and more. “You won’t want to miss this exciting new event!” said Zoological Society Executive Director Diane McNeil. “So mark your calendars and get your tickets for the wildest wine and beer tasting in town!” Tickets for this 21-and-over event are $40 for Potter Park Zoo Society members and $45 for non-members with proceeds benefiting the zoo’s Rhino Expansion Project.
