Sanford, FL - The Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens is pleased to announce a partnership with Point of View Concepts which creates and distributes ScreenscapeS DVDs. A portion of the sale of their new DVD, CritterscapeS: Snake Terrarium 1, will benefit the Zoo. The ScreenscapeS DVD transforms your Flat Panel Television into your very own venomous snake den!

“We are pleased to partner with Point of View Concepts on this project,” say Joe Montisano, CEO.  “In surveys, the number one interest at the Zoo is our Reptile House.  Of course you wouldn’t want to keep a venomous snake at your home, but with this DVD you can have your very own Eastern diamondback rattlesnake, red spitting cobra and East African green mamba.  It’s a really cool concept – each snake crawls around and explores the inside of your television!”

Point of View Concepts filmed the DVD in the Herpetarium at the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens.  Also included on the DVD Extras Section is an interview with Nick Clark, Senior Reptile Keeper at the Central Florida Zoo, giving amazing insights to these wonderful and often misunderstood animals.

For more information on purchasing the CritterscapeS: Snake Terrarium 1, please visit www.screenscapes.tv, call the company at 407.437.2886 or visit the Zoo’s ZOOfari Outpost Gift Shop.

The Pacaya Samiria National Reserve is a magical place.  The flora, fauna, remoteness and beauty are exquisite.  Another interesting aspect is how the indigenous people there live.  To learn more and see photos  taken by indigenous children in the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, you can visit ninosdelaamazonia.org
