Bunny Bounce at Woodland Park Zoo
Seattle, WA - Kids bounce around hunting for eggs and gorillas, elephants, grizzlies, and more nibble on Easter baskets lined with flowers, berries and other favorite treats at Woodland Park Zoo’s Bunny Bounce. Join in on Easter egg hunts and Easter baskets for the animals – all happening on the zoo’s North Meadow and around the zoo. Bunny Bounce offers amazing egg hunts for children ages 1 to 8, crafts, bunny encounters, entertainment and eggs-citing zoo programs throughout the day. Space for egg hunts may be limited and is open on a first-come, first-served basis. As part of the zoo’s conservation mission, children are encouraged to bring their own egg hunt basket or reusable bag. A limited supply of egg hunt bags will be provided for children without their own bag or basket. For the health and well being of zoo animals, candy will not be placed inside the eggs – egg hunt participants will receive their treats as they exit the zoo. The Easter baskets and treats for the animals are part of the zookeepers’ ongoing efforts to help enrich the lives of the zoo’s animals, promote natural animal behavior, keep animals mentally stimulated and engage zoo visitors.
