Singapore - Run around Jurong Bird Park this March holidays and discover a whole lot of fun like never before! Starting from March 14 to 22, the park will be transformed into a mega huge outdoor classroom where kids will love getting to know more interesting facts about the various types of birds in an interactive and fun manner.

Game enough for Jurong Bird Park’s very own Amazing Race? In the Ostrich Chase, teams of 3 to 6 have to complete a contest form in which the answers lie hidden within various exhibits around the Park.

What’s more, teams will have to overcome obstacles and challenges along the way before they cancomplete the race!

Then, catch a breath and step into the fascinating world of birds in the Bird Discovery Centre. Be prepared to unearth the secrets of nest-making, learn egg facts and play the spin an egg experiment to find out how the shapes of different eggs help birds adapt to different circumstance. Play matchmaker to birds in “Match My Mate” and impress your mother when you learn how to tell if eggs are fresh or not!

While you’re at the Bird Discovery Centre, don’t forget to add to the 1001 cranes. Make a wish and leave your name too, it might just come true.

That is not all. A day at the Bird Park is not complete with some live feeding action. Come up close with the birds at Lory Loft, Dinosaur descendents, Swan Lake and African Waterfall Aviary and get a chance to feed them when you join the Bird’s Eye Tour, where you will be taken on a fun-filled buggy ride with your own personal guide.
