Australia Zoo To Add Theme Park And Hotel

"It's going to be intimate and very much that kind of 'Africa comes to Australia' feel."

Ms Irwin says there are no plans to sell the zoo.

"While there will probably be some investment involved to get the project going, there won't be any relinquishing of ownership," she said. "It will be so exciting for people to come here, see the wildlife, spend the night, stay as long as they want."
