Snow Arrives as Bindi Irwin Celebrates Birthday At Australia Zoo

SNOW hits Australia Zoo for COOLEST birthday party ever!

Crikey! Wildlife Warrior princess Bindi Irwin reached double digits today, and Australia Zoo transformed into a Winter Wonderland for a very COOL party.

STACKS of fun and games were planned as it SNOWED at Australia Zoo especially for Bindi’s birthday, with the huge snow field in the middle of Australia Zoo providing hours of snow-man-making and tobogganing fun! How COOL is that?

And fresh from their Brisbane performance, the TOP FOUR dancers from the hit Australian dance show, So You Think You Can Dance, performed LIVE at Australia Zoo especially for Bindi!

That’s right - Jack, Rhys, Kate and Demi dance up a storm in a one-off Bindi’s Birthday performance.

“It was so exciting! To have these amazing dancers coming to my birthday and dance in the Crocoseum was so beaut bonza!” said Bindi.

Other dance favourites Henry, Vanessa, Rhiannon, Anthony, Gemma, Marko, and judge Matt Lee, also joined in all the birthday fun. Party-goers took in the performance and then met the dancers and got their autographs!

“I love having my birthday at Australia Zoo. It’s a day I get to share with everybody and say G’Day!”

Especially to help Bindi celebrate, all kids received free entry on Bindi’s birthday, with gates opening at the extra early time of 8am.

Thousands turned out to enjoy all of the FREE entertainment, including face-painting, rock climbing wall, pony rides and candle making, and had a go at our colouring competition. Guests of all ages got into the cool spirit by dressing up in their best Winter Wonderland costume.

And following the cake cutting, guests lined up to grab their piece of the HUGE birthday cake - Wooo-Hoo!

All of the birthday fun PLUS all of the slithering, swooping, jaw snapping action of the Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors Show, made for one ripper of a party!

And don’t forget – the next big birthday bash will be held on December 1, when Robert turns five! Only at Australia Zoo – where CROCS RULE!
