Fossil Rim's 1,800 acres have been divided into large pastures to keep peace among the different species.  There are over 1,100 exotic, threatened and endangered animals that are able to roam freely in their expansive pastures.  There is a 9 1/2 mile drive where visitors are able to interact and feed the many varieties of animals that live there.  I highly recommend visiting this facility if you happen to visit the Dallas area.  It is amazing!  Check out their website at
