Zoo Negara Malaysia is home to over 4000 animals from 400 species of mammals, birds, fish, amphibian and reptiles. Situated closed to the Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Zoo Negara covers 64 acres of land adjacent to the largest Quartz Hill in Southeast Asia - the Klang Gates! 

Zoo Negara Malaysia is the first in the world to breed over 100 highly endangered Milky Storks in captivity. The False Gharial breeding is also a notable success worth mentioning! The Aquarium Tunku Abdul Rahman is the first ecological based freshwater aquarium displaying fish from upper, mid and lowerstream including peatswamps and other wetland areas in the country.
