I'd like to introduce you to the latest innovation in interactive video tours for Zoo visitors, the Zoo Ranger. My name is Lee Little and I have created this exciting new tool to help Zoo educators deliver the message of conservation and preservation via a fun, hand-held GPS guided video tour.

The San Francisco Zoo is the first zoo in the nation to offer a “behind the scenes” Zoo Ranger Tour to visitors. Visitors to the Dallas Zoo are compelled to “take a closer look” at the amazing animals while viewing Zoo Ranger interactive videos.

The Zoo Ranger map feature helps visitors find their way around the Zoo. Visitors have fun playing the interactive Endangered Species Scavenger Hunt. It helps connect visitors with the exhibits by rewarding them when they visit stops on the tour and answer questions about the videos and the animals.
