E.P.O.N.A. is home to anywhere between ten and twenty horses and ponies. Currently, we are home to eleven horses, and also have one resident sheep. Horses reside in our spacious and cozy barn by night, and spend their days romping in our grassy paddocks, alone or in a small group, based on their individual needs.
E.P.O.N.A.'s mission is to rescue and provide a safe haven for horses of all breeds who are abused and neglected, as well as those destined for slaughter, rehabilitate them, and place them in responsible and caring homes. E.P.O.N.A. also provides a comfortable and therapeutic environment for a limited number of permanently retired horses. In addition, E.P.O.N.A. seeks to educate the public about horse welfare issues and the proper care and training of horses. We welcome visitors (by appointment only, please), and have many horses available for sponsorship and adoption. You may also become a member of E.P.O.N.A.; your annual contribution will assist in providing proper nutrition and medical care to the horses at E.P.O.N.A.
