16 hectares of ancient hay meadow and willow carr have been transformed into various continental regions of the world with primarily representative wetland species on exhibit in large walk-throguh enclosures where possible. 3 species of otters, 6 of primates, 4 ibis, penguins, flamingos, felines, deer, antelope and tapir are among the 100 or so species on view. Also interpretive boardwalks through the Curraghs peat bog and willow carr.

Adjacent to Ballaugh Curragh Ramsar Site, we aim to explain the importance of wetland habitats throughout the world and the wildlife they support
