The Cango Wildlife Ranch is situated on 6 hectares of land and provides sanctuary to over 300 species of animals. We offer 60 minute guided tours of our facility daily where our specialist guides will lead you through Valley of Ancients and Cheetahland.
The Ranch is the oldest and largest cheetah contact centre and offers visitors the opportunity of interacting with a select few ambassador species such as cheetah and tigers. We also offer the world's first and only Crocodile Cage Diving where visitors can get up close and personal with 4 meter Nile Crocodiles (terms and conditions apply to participating in our Natural Encounters program). Known for our far-reaching conservation efforts, the Ranch incorporates the Cheetah Conservation Foundation, a non-profit foundation actively involved in the plight of endangered species such as the African cheetah, Bengal tiger, White lion, Madagascar ring-tailed lemur and Pygmy hippo. This foundation's efforts are so successful that the Ranch is currently the number one cheetah breeding facility in the world (International Cheetah Stud book 2005) and through this Foundation our visitors can get actively involved in saving endangered species by becoming a member of CCF and by donating funds towards our breeding programs.
