CFI's hatchery is a 5000 sq ft building, housing more than 500 tanks and aquaria, with a gross capacity of more than 20,000 gallons. We have successfully propagated nearly 50 non-game southeastern U.S. fish species. We currently hold 35 populations of imperiled fish. During the peak of the production season, we house more than 20,000 individual fish.

We are the only private, non-profit facility in the United States actively propagating threatened and endangered fishes for reintroductions, research, and ark population preservation.
