Located in Montana we have rescued thus far, 9 mature draft horses from an untimely death. We currently have 7 horses at our facility and are looking for more land and funding to help more horses. We started United In Light, Inc. in northern Arizona on 2.5 acres in November of 2003. We moved to Montana in May of 2007 to 8 acres. We are continually growing.

Our story was placed in Cowboys & Indians Oct. 07 Issue. We have been currently the only nonprofit in the Nation to have a Retirement Sanctuary for the Draft Breeds. Many have tried yet, due to the expense of care for a mature Draft Horse they were not able to survive. We are very grateful for all our supports who have allowed us to continue and grow! You have made what was once a dream of United In Light, Inc. to a reality! Thank you for your interest!
