We have 163 different species on site and more than 800 animals. Other than reindeer and farm animals all creatures in the collection are part of international conservation and breeding programmes. We hold Sumatran tigers, snow leopards, Asian lions, red pandas, Rothschild's giraffe and one of the largest breeding groups of Humboldt's penguins in Europe. We also believe in fun and try to make a day at Dudley Zoo a special time with a chance to get close to some of the world's rarest animals an experience which offers priceless, long-lasting memories.

Founded in 1937, Dudley Zooological Gardens is set in 20 acres of mature woodland centred around an 11th century castle and courtyard. It is also home to the largest single collection of Tecton buildings. . .these iconic constructions were the first Modernist animal enclosures in the world . . . and along with the ancient landmark monument, offer a unique backdrop to some of the most exotic creatures on Planet Earth. DZG is a registered charity (no 507221)
