0.5 acre zoo with over 250 animals representing some 50 species of invertebrates, fish, reptiles, birds, and mammals; indoor exhibit hall with play and interactive science exhibits for children for 1 9; four classrooms for art and science classes and camps.
The Junior Museum and Zoo offers interatcive exhibit for drop in families and scheduled science programs for childen in schools and at the museum and Zoo. We also facilitate interpretation in Palo Alto's open space reserves including the Lucy Evans Baylands Nature Interpretive Center with indoor interpretive displays, meeting room, and laboratory for classes and camps.
