example of adaptation in how they protect and defend themselves by
self-mimicry. And then there are orangutans...

Project Materials
Needed: Paper plate 3 sheets gray construction paper One sheet white construction paper Scissors Glue
Steps: 1. Cut eyeholes in paper plate 2. Cut two
elephant ears from the gray construction paper and tape to back of paper
plate 3. Roll one of the gray construction paper sheets and glue
in a roll. 4. Fold the gray rolled sheet accordion style and tape
to mask face. 5. Cut two curved tusks from white construction
paper and tape to mask face on sides of the trunk. Please Recycle Do not print, discard
